MalalaYousafzai is shot on a bus as she is on her way home from school. She was shot because she supported the idea of girls having the same right as boys to an education, something that is still widely unaccepted in Pakistan and in other Middle-Eastern countries. The Taliban had targeted her and threatened her before the attack, and although she was frightened, she continued to go to school.
