The World Health Organization declares a Global pandemic. The H1N1 disease, also known as Swine Flu, was detected in the United States, and it spread around the world through contact with the infected. The disease is a respiratory infection that originates from an influenza strain found in pigs. The disease is curable and preventable.
June 25th
Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, dies at age 50. It is said that he died of Cardiac Arrest.
June 11th
I was in middle school when the outbreak of H1N1 happened. I remember our teachers having to give us lectures on how to wash our hands thoroughly or cough into our arms.
