After over three years, Osama bin Laden comes forward and takes responsibility for the 9/11 attacks in a video that was broadcasted by the Al Jazeera news station. He is not apologetic in his speech, but rather, he is proud of his work and, amidst his praises to Allah, he threatenes more attacks, especially directed towards the American public.
February 4th
Mark Zuckerberg Launches Facebook from his Harvard dorm for the first time.
August 17th
Four bombs go off on four Madrid commuter trains. Osama bin Laden immediately takes responsibility for the attacks.
